Your subscriber data is stored securely using Netlify Blobs, a managed data storage service provided by Netlify, Inc. Data is stored in encrypted form and access is restricted to authorized MailerDot systems only.

We use the following third-party services to operate MailerDot:
- Resend.com — handles email delivery. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for the purpose of sending your daily newsletter. Resend's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.
- Perplexity AI — generates newsletter content (local news summaries, weather, events). No subscriber data (email, city, or state) is shared with Perplexity. Only general city-level queries are made to produce content.
- Netlify — provides hosting and data storage infrastructure for the MailerDot website and subscriber database.
5. Data Sharing and Selling
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your email address or personal information with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Your data is only shared with the service providers listed above, strictly as needed to operate the newsletter.
6. Data Retention
We retain your subscriber data for as long as your subscription is active. When you unsubscribe, your data is removed from our active subscriber database. You may also request complete deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
